Two Hadley residents were sent to the hospital on Friday night after a landslide on North Shore Road near the Conklingville Dam. The road collapsed beneath the couple in their SUV, sending them tumbling toward the lake. Both of them suffered from multiple cuts and bruises, and both have been treated and released at Albany Medical Center.

The Highway Department expects the road to be closed for at least a month until the road can be repaired.
