Important Membership Meeting
We have scheduled our annual meeting for GSLBA on Wednesday January 22 at 4:00 p.m. at the Edinburg Senior Center by the town hall. As you are aware, some of the board members would like to step down. We are currently looking for people interested in holding office. We have modified this association so that much of our work is done via the internet and we do not meet unless we have to. We try very hard to keep all of the meetings to one hour. Currently each officer is in charge of coordinating one event. Bob Campbell and Jeff Gray would like to step down. I currently am both Secretary and Treasurer and would like to reiinquish my role as Secretary. We are not going to abandon ship but we are please asking you consider taking on a role on our board.

Winter fireworks will be held at Lanzi’s on February 16. Our annual meeting with elections will be tentatively scheduled at Sport Island Pub on January 9 at 6:00 p.m.
We are non-profit organization whose goal is to promote business around the Great Sacandaga Lake. We aim to enhance the area by encouraging recreation, resourceful use, and enjoyment of the lake. We offer local businesses an opportunity to promote themselves while promoting the Great Sacandaga Lake as a whole.

Our Political Influence
We support the efforts of the Sacandaga Protection Committee and the Great Sacandaga Lake Association with respect to rulemaking, jurisdictional control, and lake use.
