Wells, NY

The town of Wells is located north of the Great Sacandaga Lake along Route 30 on the shores of Lake Algonquin. Like the Great Sacandaga, Lake Algonquin is a man-made lake, stretching 3 miles along the Sacandaga River. The Northville-Lake Placid Trail is accessible in Wells at the end of West River Road.

During the first Weekend in August every year, the town holds their annual Old Home Days Festival, which includes a carnival and a parade. Be sure to check out our events calendar for more information as August approaches!
