Fishing

Sacandaga Lake has some of the best fishing in the Adirondacks.  One of nearly 3000 + lakes, the Sacandaga is one of the largest lakes in the Adirondack Park.  The Sacandaga fishing stock is managed and maintained by the NYS DEC with The Great Sacandaga Lake Fisheries Federation keeping a watchful eye and helping promote & protect the regions fishing.

Many anglers come for the supreme Adirondack Walleye fishing, that the Sacandaga has to offer as well as the plenitude of  Pike, Rainbow & Brown Trout, Bass fishing and even landlocked salmon that occur in the lake.  Great care and many resources have been spent over the years to bring the Sacandaga to the high level of fishing it is at today.
