Beaches & Swimming


There are plenty of places to enjoy sand and sun on the Great Sacadaga Lake. There are many beautiful beaches are available for public enjoyment, and some even offer canoe and kayak rentals for a small fee.

Help keep the beaches clean.  Be sure to follow the carry in carry out policies of the beaches.  Some beaches have garbage drop off points at the entrances to the parks.  The reason that so many people come to enjoy the beaches around the Sacandaga is for their beauty, let keep the beaches beautiful.

Resident season permits $15; non-resident season permits $50. Daily passes $5 carload, $1 walk-ins. All permits are issued and fees collected at the beach gate (not available at Town Hall) proof of residency required.
